Lumen & Lawn

Terms of Service

Effective June 2, 2026

These terms apply to outdoor cinema services booked with Lumen & Lawn. By reserving an event, you agree to the terms below. A separate written booking agreement may add event‑specific details.

Our services

We provide private outdoor movie experiences, including the screen, projector, sound, lighting, and power, set up and run for you and packed down after your event, within our service area of Greater Boston and Southern New Hampshire.

Bookings & payment

Scheduling & weather

We monitor the forecast closely. If conditions are unsafe for the equipment (such as rain or high wind), we will work with you to move to a mutually agreeable backup date. Deposits applied to a rescheduled date remain valid.

Your responsibilities

Films & licensing

For private gatherings of your invited guests, you supply the film you wish to watch. For public, community, HOA, ticketed, or advertised screenings, a public performance license is required and is the responsibility of the host; we are glad to point you to a provider.

Liability & insurance

We carry general liability insurance and operate our equipment with care. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lumen & Lawn is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount paid for the event. You are responsible for your property and your guests.

Cancellation & rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule by contacting us; deposits are non‑refundable inside 7 days of the event as noted above. We reserve the right to cancel for safety reasons and will refund or reschedule accordingly.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire and, where applicable, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to conflict‑of‑law rules.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the effective date above reflects the current version.
